Orthopedic Surgeon
Prof. Dr. Hasan Hüseyin Ceylan

Prof. Dr. Hasan Hüseyin Ceylan is a distinguished orthopedic surgeon specializing in knee and hip surgeries, sports injuries, and regenerative medicine. He completed his medical education at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 2007 and obtained his specialty in orthopedics and traumatology from Bezmialem Vakıf University in 2013. Throughout his career, he has held positions in various institutions, including Istanbul Education and Research Hospital and Muş State Hospital, and has been actively involved in both clinical practice and academic teaching.

Dr. Ceylan has enriched his expertise through international experiences, notably as a research fellow at Thomas Jefferson University in the United States in 2016. He has contributed to numerous scientific publications and has been recognized with awards such as the Best Oral Presentation at the 27th National Turkish Orthopedics and Traumatology Congress. His research interests encompass joint cartilage problems, meniscal tears, ligament injuries, and the application of regenerative therapies in orthopedic conditions.

Currently, Prof. Dr. Ceylan serves as a faculty member at Istanbul Yeni Yüzyıl University Faculty of Medicine and practices at Medical Park Bahçelievler Hospital. He is also an active member of several professional organizations, including the Turkish Orthopedics and Traumatology Association and the European Society for Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery, and Arthroscopy (ESSKA), reflecting his commitment to advancing orthopedic practice and education.

Since 2018, Dr. Fotbolcu has been serving at Bezmialem Vakıf University Dragos Hospital, where he continues his clinical and academic work. He was appointed as an Associate Professor in 2021 in the Department of Internal Medicine at Bezmialem University. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he delivers courses on secondary hypertension and contributes actively to training future physicians.

Dr. Fotbolcu has authored numerous articles indexed in SCI journals, covering a wide range of topics including myocardial infarction, valve diseases, aortic dissection, cardiac imaging, and systemic effects of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease. His research reflects a strong commitment to integrating clinical practice with evidence-based cardiology. He is also the author of a book chapter on peripheral vascular interventions and has participated in international scientific congresses.
