Prof. Dr. Fatih Kucurdurmaz

Prof. Dr. Fatih Küçükdurmaz is a faculty member in the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology at Istinye University Faculty of Medicine.

Prof. Dr. Fatih Küçükdurmaz graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Medicine in 2002. He completed his specialization in the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology at the same faculty in 2008.

In 2011, he worked as a chief resident at the Ümraniye Training and Research Hospital, and between 2011 and 2018, he worked at Bezmialem Vakif University. From 2013 to 2015, he conducted postdoctoral research in the field of hip and knee prostheses and infections at the Rothman Institute at Thomas Jefferson University in the United States. He became an associate professor in 2015.

He began working as an associate professor at Marmara University in 2018 and became a full professor in 2020. Since 2021, he has been a faculty member in the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology at Istinye University Faculty of Medicine and works at VM Medicalpark Maltepe Hospital. He has many publications in international and national journals.

During his medical education, he completed internships at Zurich University in Switzerland, Centre Chirurgical Marie Lannelongue in France, and Harvard University Medical School, Brigham & Women’s Hospital in the United States in 2000 and 2001.

During his specialization training, he worked at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.

From 2013 to 2015, he worked in the field of hip and knee prostheses and infections at the Rothman Institute at Thomas Jefferson University, one of the world’s leading medical schools, in the United States. He conducted significant research and projects during this time.
