Prof. Dr. Cuneyt Kucur

Prof. Dr. Cüneyt Kucur is a distinguished specialist in otorhinolaryngology (ENT), with decades of clinical, academic, and surgical experience. After graduating from Marmara University Faculty of Medicine in 2003, he held academic positions at multiple institutions including Bezmialem Vakıf University and Kütahya Health Sciences University, ultimately achieving the rank of full professor at Marmara University in 2024. His expertise encompasses facial nerve paralysis, hearing and balance disorders, robotic and endoscopic ENT surgeries, and advanced head and neck surgical procedures.

With over 60 publications in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals and hundreds of citations, Prof. Kucur has made significant contributions to international medical literature—especially in the fields of otology, rhinology, sleep apnea, facial nerve repair, and robotic-assisted head and neck surgeries. His work on nasal mucociliary activity, oxidative stress markers, pediatric ENT conditions, and transoral robotic surgery has influenced both academic and clinical practice. He also regularly serves as a reviewer for leading journals such as Clinical Otolaryngology and Head and Neck.

In addition to his clinical and academic roles, Prof. Kucur has been actively involved in postgraduate and undergraduate education, mentoring future ENT specialists with a focus on innovation and evidence-based care. Fluent in English at the C2 level, he has participated in international collaborations and educational activities. His holistic approach combines surgical excellence, scientific rigor, and a dedication to patient-centered care.
